MyAutoSound provides information and tools to help users describe and understand vehicle noises and potential causes. Results are generated from user inputs and other sources and are provided for general information only.

3) No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide professional automotive advice, diagnostics, or repair services. Content and outputs are for informational purposes only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific vehicle. Always consult a qualified mechanic for inspection and repair.

4) Safe Use

  • Do not use the Service while driving or in any situation requiring your full attention.
  • Repairs and inspections involve risk. Do not attempt any procedure unless you are qualified and have proper tools, PPE, and safety equipment.
  • Always follow your vehicle manufacturer’s official procedures and specifications.

5) User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for any actions you take based on the Service. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and safety rules.

6) Accounts & Eligibility

If we later introduce accounts, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reverse engineering, scraping at scale, introducing malware, infringing intellectual-property rights, or using the Service to harass or harm others.

The Service links to third-party resources (e.g., Google Maps/Places, OpenStreetMap, tutorials, parts vendors). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, or outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyAutoSound, its owners, developers, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; or for lost profits, data, goodwill; or for personal injury, property damage, or vehicle damage arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including any repair attempts.

12) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MyAutoSound harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13) Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date will change. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

14) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts located in Montréal, Québec, will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable local consumer rights.
